TNFC encourages maximum involvement of citizen volunteers with its programs, activities and operations. This involvement promotes good community relations and allows us to maintain a high quality co-op. The involvement of volunteers helps to do the following
- Allow our co-op to thrive thanks to community volunteers
- Provide the community with first-hand knowledge about TNFC.
- Create a strong relationship with our community so we can meet their needs as a community driven co-op.
- Relieve staff workload to ensure that they are able to focus their attention on making our co-op thrive and meet its maximum potentional.
As a token of our appreciation for your help you will also receive a discount on one purchase per month based on the amount of hours worked. You can accumulate your hours between the first and last day of each month. All discounts must be used by the end of the next month or they will expire.
