Thurston Athletics Fundraising

Families can sign-up to work at Matthew Knight Arena to fundraise for school related expenses. Funds you earn can be used for any Thurston High School related expense.

These funds can only be used at THS, no other schools. Funds MUST be used by the time student graduates. Funds may be saved for younger siblings (alert Bookkeeper of name). If no younger siblings, funds will be transferred to Athletic Scholarship account to be used for those that cannot afford sports. 

Sign in sheet located in concession stand MUST be signed in order to get credit. It is up to the worker to sign in at each event, not signing in may result in student not getting credit for event. Signing in at the gate is different then signing in at the concession stand.

Things come up and plans change, but no showing or cancelling last minute may affect Thurston's ability to work future events and affects everyone else that is working that event. "No Shows" may be charged to your students account for the amount you were earning and/or you may be removed from the list of people who are asked to work future events. Being able to work these events is a privilege, not a right.

Please be aware that as an adult you may be asked to run a cash register. 

We need to have an adult signed in to work with a student.

Attire: Clean, neat clothing. Concession shirts are provided. Pants must be black or khaki colored. Shorts must be below fingertips. No jeans with holes or rips.

Hours: Our times are set by the UofO. Occasionally times do change. I do my best to get the info out as soon as I get it. Our open times are anywhere from 1 hour before the event starts to 3 hours before. The times I post are the times you need to be there ready to work.
