SHHS Band Boosters Volunteers

The Science Hill High School Band Boosters is a 501 c(3) organization that runs on Volunteer Power to provide for the needs of the Science Hill High School Band Program, not already supplied by the Johnson City School System.  

1. Feed the band students throughout the year via meals at band camp, at home and/or away games and at competitions.
2. Help raise funds for the organization through our various fund rasing activities such as Concessions (the number one source of funds for the organization) trailer ads/corporate sponsorships, pancake breakfast, merchandise and many other fund rasing opportunities
3. Chaperone students at home and away games, at competitions and on trips (bi-annually)
4. Create and sew the beautiful flags for our color guard for the show each year
5. Assist with Marching Band Uniforms and Wind Ensemble Tuxedos, inclduing fitting students during band camp, helping arrange needed alterations, providing uniforms assistance at all games and competitions, tracking all school owned uniforms and accessories and organizing uniform sales
6. Work on Field Crew, including transporting equipment to and from games and competitions, loading and unloading the trailer, moving equipment on and off the field
7. Sale tickets at concerts after the marching season, including organizing ushers to work the doors at concerts
