WKU BSN Program minimum requirements:
These are minimums; you are welcome to participate in any/all meetings and service events.
1st -3rd semester students are required to attend at least one KANS Professional Service Event (see service event form on Bb).
4th semester students meet their requirements in Community Nursing class.
Note: KANS requirements are waived for students repeating a class during the semester they are repeating.
It is the student’s responsibility to meet the above requirements.
KANS Info is posted on the "BSN Orientation” & “BSN Prelicensure Student Information" Bb sites under the KANS tab. The KANS Service Event form that must be signed to verify participation is located there.
Students are welcomed and encouraged to participate in as many meetings & events as fit into their schedule and to track their participation to add to their resume.
